Darek Wieczorek

Darek is an extremely knowledgeable wireless-industry veteran with 40+ years of experience in diverse environments and projects throughout North America and Europe. His expertise is centered around public safety Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communications with extensions into adjacent markets (utilities) and technologies (microwave, LTE, cable broadband).

He has managed or participated in numerous wireless projects of varying magnitude and scope, from medium size college campus to statewide agencies. Darek has a unique array of LMR experience, having held positions as a field technician, system engineer, LMR business manager, consultant and other technical and business management roles. In recent years most of his skills were centered on project management, system assessment, conceptual system design, procurement assistance and site acquisition. In the past he also enjoyed some deep dives into hands-on system maintenance and implementation, coverage design, product development, business development, market research, support services and general management.

Darek is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional and holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Merchant Marine Academy of Gdynia (Poland), and an MBA from Duke University. He participated in numerous special training courses covering a variety of technical, business, project management and public speaking topics.
